Polearmball Rules and Regulations By Jaime Lapides (Stretchsportguy)

Inaugural Edition  The American Polearmball Association, Inc.

The purpose of this inaugural edition is to allow Polearmball to be taken from concept to reality. Using the parameters spelled out on the following pages and depicted by the various diagrams and illustrations, this game may now be implemented and tested. Variations of Polearmball may be played on snow, on ice, on water, in water, equestrian, cycle, or using other devices and/or surfaces. This version will describe the game that is played on foot on a court or field.

The playing area shall be partitioned by a large circle in the center called the Midfield Circle. 

Within the center of the Midfield Circle shall be a solid circle that is marked and has enough room for a player to stand on called The Bull’s Eye. 

A center line shall cut longways across the center of the Midfield Circle and run through the Bull’s Eye and continue longways to the outside limits of the Midfield Circle and continue longways until it touches the two limit lines at either end where this line ends. This line shall be called the Travel Line.

The playing area shall be partitioned by three lines as you move away from the circle down field in either direction. The playing area shall be limited in width by sidelines. The first line as you move away from the Midfield Circle in either direction down-field shall be called the Limit Line. The second line shall be called the Delivery Line. The third line shall be called the Target Line.
